(Alternative name was 'Body-in-a-bag' challenge as we passed the dolls round in a bag)

This was a challenge from a pattern but with no instructions. The pattern was designed by Anne-Marie Brombal. The pattern was first listed on Friends of Cloth Dolls web site in 2000. Her web site is on the links page

There were two groups of six participants.

First round:          to make the head

Second round:     to make the body

Third round :         to make the arms

Fourth round:        to make the legs

Fifth round :           to put together and make face

Sixth round:            to embellish the doll

After each round the parts were past onto the next in the group with the person who did the head getting the completed doll back.

These are the reactions when the dolls were revealed. Yes, there are two of Chris as she was in the two groups.

The pictures are not in any specific order

And now the dolls

This doll was problematical as the person making the body had made two fronts so there are two of everything.

Betty ended up with an African Doll which will now sit with the other she has just completed

This fellow is going to get a Mandolin to play

This doll has enjoyed a bit of the good living and put some weight on round the middle.

What do you do with these feet. Yes they are as big as they look!!

The person who made the body likes gingerbread men so had embroidered

"You can't catch me ,I'm the gingerbread man"

This lady has an air of mystery about her

Love the belly button but look out for the snake

This girl has a silver lining

Can only be superman with those legs and red head

Someone has been sunbathing too long in the garden

An example to us all, you have to exercise to get a figure like that
