dyeing requirements

This is going to be a fun day in two parts

Morning

This will be plastic bag dyeing

You will need

Procion Dyes if you have them ; Don't panic Chris has some if you don't' have any
Washing Soda
Salt
2 empty plastic bottles to make solutions of soda and salt
Cling film
Cat litter tray or equivalent if you havn't a cat
Rubber gloves, apron, newspapers or suitable table cover
Bowel ( 2pt)
plastic freezer bags with tie handles( like at Tesco). Medium or large
2-3 jam jars and plastic spoons
Fabics: any natural fabric i.e. cotton, calico, silk, viscose, rayon, etc. Polyester will not work and wool will be pale
Threads if you want to dye to match

Afternoon

This will be be 'Dip dyeing'
